THE BEATLES: BBC ARCHIVES REMASTERED SATURDAY CLUB FIFTH BIRTHDAY 1963 2 CD This is the complete two hour 5th birthday episode of Saturday Club from October 5th 1963, as recorded from the live feed by producer Bernie Andrews and kept in his private collection until he donated it to the BBC in the late 80s. The Beatles segments were pre-recorded on 7th September onto reel TLO 19353, making this a second generation copy. One can only imagine how good the original reel must have sounded, given that this sounds fantastic!
