THE BEATLES: MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR 1988 LASER DISC VERSION BLU-RAY Produced and Directed by The Beatles. All Songs supervised and re-mixed by George Martin. In 1988 Ron Furmanek restored and remixed the multitrack audio for "Magical Mystery Tour" which was released on VHS, Beta and Laserdisc. He re-inserted the alternate "roll up..." comments as heard in the original film, also omitting some of the background vocals in "Blue Jay Way" so it matched what was heard on the original mono mix used in the film. Subsequent releases in 1997 and 2012 did not use Furmanek's mixes opting instead to use the "official stereo mixes" of those songs. The colors also look more natural in this presentation! Included is the 2012 Arena special, MMT revisited, which includes film outtakes and interviews on the making of this film! Plus a BBC report on reactions to the film from 1967! 12 chapters Approx 120 minutes.
