The Beatles
This true stereo mix, was used on the stereo releases of "Revolver" (LP & CD) and on later issues (ca. 1973) of "Yesterday And Today".
Brennan:
The "some later issues" of Yesterday & Today that have stereo are (1) all tape format copies since 1966 [reel-to-reel YT-2553, eight-track 8X2T-2648 and later 8XT-2553, cassette 4XT-2553, and even the four-track 4CL-2553!], (2) Capitol record club LP copies beginning in 1968, (3) many general release LPs pressed at the Winchester plant [indicated by -<| the sideways wine glass] since 1973, the date I use for the LP reissue. The use of old LP stampers with fake stereo, however, continued as late as 1988, the end of LPs.

RMx Take 10 - Australia
14 Apr 1969
The Beatles
Presented by bootleggers as a rare Australian mono mix.
Lewisohn (as many other sources) does not report any mono mix created in UK. Thus, either:
+ it was mixed by the Australian record company (EMI ? Capitol ? other ?)
+ or it's a fake.
One thing is certain is that this mix sounds very much like a simple combination of the two stereo channels and this can be done easily by any record company... or any bootleger.

Vee Jay did not have the stereo mix and used the mono version on the stereo LP VJSR 1085 (Thank You Girl is also mono there). On 8 Apr 1966, Takes 6-8 are recorded. Take 8 receives overdubs on 11 Apr 1966. Brass overdubs are added on 18 May 1966. That same day Take 9-11 are produced (reduction from take 8, eliminating vocals) and Paul overdubbed new vocals onto take 9.
More overdubs onto take 9 occured on 17 Jun 1966. RM3-7, based on take 9 were produced that day.
On 20 Jun 1966, a copy of RM7, called RM8, was created and superimposed with Take 8 (brass overdub) to create the current mono version.

The stereo version has appeared with early fades on some compilations.

Copy of RS25+RS7 for Capitol. Capitol trimmed the intro to 4 beats.
As you see, all the stereo versions include RM23 in MOCK STEREO. There is no "full stereo" version.
The current version was released on:
UK: Parlophone SMMT 1 (EP) Magical Mystery Tour 1967, Apple PCSP 718 The Beatles 1967-1970 1973.
US: Capitol SV-12199 Reel Music 1982.

US: Capitol SMAL 2835 Magical Mystery Tour 1967, Apple SKBO-3404 The Beatles 1967-1970 1973.
Liner notes: Most all stereo versions of this song switch to "reprocessed" stereo two minutes into the track, this is "full stereo" throughout the entire song.
Tilleul's note: bogus liner notes since there is no "full" stereo version. The liner notes seem to describe the US "Rarities" version (which appears on track 13, according to liner notes once again). So, what is this track really ? The only existing stereo mixes are the regular mix as found on MMT today, the US Rarities mix and the edited Capitol mix. I've assumed this is the latter.
