The most exciting part of this collection! To begin with, we have included the 2 videos from YouTube that totally rocked the Beatles world – “I’m Losing You – Version 1” and “Beautiful Boy – Version 1.” While these were quickly removed from the internet; they appear here complete, in higher resolution, and totally clean with no watermarks or visual code. These newly-created and history-making videos marked the first and only appearance of John’s Double Fantasy recording sessions and the 1980 birthday party at Tavern On The Green – all in excellent quality direct video. Rumors have persisted for 35 years that John destroyed these professionally-shot studio tapes in the bathtub. Obviously, he did not. Beatles scholars started analyzing these 2 clips over hundreds of pages on dozens of forums and social media outlets within minutes of their first appearances. Also included are second (alternate audio) versions of each song containing lots of additional unseen footage from those two sources. The audio for “Beautiful Boy – Version 2” is a higher quality outtake that features a previously uncirculated mix. So does “I’m Moving On”, which also features Hit Factory session footage of Yoko recording this song and unreleased outtakes from promotional videos. “Starting Over / Kiss Kiss Kiss (MEDLEY)” is another treat that reassembles all of the available footage of John & Yoko walking through Central Park in 1980 as well as all of the infamous love-making footage. These 6 clips alone contain the rarest and most historically significant footage of John Lennon to surface in decades! No fan or collector should be without these. One interesting thing should be noted here. For many years, rumors have persisted that Yoko was a harsh, uncaring and unavailable mother to Sean while John was alive. A look at the private home movie footage featured in both versions of “Beautiful Boy” (from their home in Long Island, New York’s Cold Spring Harbor) should disprove those vicious allegations forever.
