Paul McCartney (2/Cd) Get Back To Glasgow 1990
GET BACK TOUR, which began in 1989, since the Wings era, was held for two years under the footsteps until 1990, performing more than 100 performances. Despite the fact that the basic set list did not change, the tour was progressing while still a few changes were added everywhere, such as Paul’s condition, the event stage, the first half of the tour and the second half. Among them, three performances in home country UK are the highlights of this tour, both of which are memorable stages.

The tour that started in September 1989 began in Scandinavia. And around Europe like Germany and France, I am doing large-scale continuous performances in Birmingham and London in January 1990 when the year passed through after passing through America. The center of the tour was the United States in proportion to the vastness of the national land, and in other cases it performs 2 performances in Brazil and 6 performances in Japan. In January 1990 I wrote that it was a large-scale continuous performance, but the British tour was only once. But there are exceptions. It is 3 performances in the UK where it is officially distinguished from Europe / 3rd Leg.

He went around Japan in March 1990, North America in April and in Brazilian performance at the end of April, he established a Guinness record with the number of attendants of a single concert by a single artist. And from July I will go back to the North American tour again, but in June I am only performing three concerts in the UK in the meantime. Both of these three performances became special to both fans and Paul. Timing of holidays between tours, he went back to Britain to do three shows in a single shot. The schedule is as follows.

June 23rd 1990 Glasgow Performance Liverpool on June 28, 1990 Nebworth performance on June 30, 1990

This work contains the first and only Scottish Glasgow performance among these. Speaking of Paul’s name Glasgow is famous for “LAST FLIGHT” on the 1979 UK tour. It is Glasgow performance for the first time in 11 years since that very time. This concert was performed specifically entitled “GET BACK TO GLASGOW”. The day that the concert is special is the day when we played the only “dream traveler” during the tour. This song is a songwritten with Denny Raine on the cape of Kinthair in the western part of Scotland (after which Denny, which was economically in need, will sell the right to Paul), that song that puts out an impressive bagpipe tone in front Is proud of its tremendous sales within the UK and is also called the second national anthem of Scotland, which has exceeded the record of the greatest number of “She Loves You” had. Of course the bagpipe was not a tape, but a local orchestra formed a row and entered the stage and played with Paul. The situation at this time was recorded as fragmentary in the video work “GOIN ‘HOME” as one of the highlights of the tour, now it is out of print but released as a single at that time.

This work includes a complete recording of Scottish performances on the first day of a special British 3 show at the tour. Also on bonus tracks are recorded “soundtracker of the dream” of this day on the sound board.
