Product Description
There are many studio outtakes and rare tracks in Stones in the 1960s. This work is a set of five sets that once again gathered the titles released for each age in one set. It will be the title covering the studio out take in the six years from 1961 to 1966.
As a feature of this series, it is not the order of album recording, but it is listed in the order of recording according to historical fact to the last. Disk 1 starts with the performance of LITTLE BOY BLUE AND THE BLUE BOYS which is said to have been recorded from the end of 1961 to 1962. This is a sound source that is said to be the first recording of the Stones, Mick’s youthful and polite singing is impressive. Although it is a skitful style performance that was prevalent in the UK at the time, there is also a song of Fifties-like rock roll arrangement, which is a sound source that the beginning of the sprout where the history of Stones starts is sufficiently felt.
It is followed by the sound source that was recorded with the band name of THE ROLLIN ‘STONES as recorded on October 27, 1962 and March 11, 1963, respectively. The performance of this age still does not come out of the range of Oldies, but the difference is clear in comparison with the performance of the Little Blue & Blue Boys earlier. It has become a proper professional performance. There will be amazing things in this short term progress. In the second half, Andrew · Oldham began to manage the band, and the studio out takes after changing the band name to THE ROLLING STONES following the present is recorded. In addition, please refer to the credit described in the jacket for details of the song.
Disks 2 and 3 are featured in that not only the original songs of Stones but also the sound source which participated in the session of other artists are fully covered from January 2, 1964 until the same session of November of the same year is there. For details of recorded songs, please refer to credits stated in the jacket. Disks 4 and 5 cover the studio out takes in 1965 and 1966.
